The Aero Tech Designs ECO Recycled Fabric is one of the most environmentally safe and technically innovative fabrics we offer. We source our material from an OEKO-TEX certified company, which tests for harmful substances and that the article is harmless for human health. The base material is a RPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) fabric made from recycled plastic. The RPET fabric is treated with a ChitoSante coating. The ChitoSante finish is a new environmentally friendly treatment made from natural biomass that allows the fabric to be anti-bacterial and odor-resistant and increase breathability, durability, and dry time. The Chitosante is the only anti-bacterial bio-agent approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
