Great bike pants in a huge range of sizes, made in the U.S.A.!!! An inexpensive bike computer that, actually, works along w/ a way cool bike seat cover that was also very affordable. What's not to love about this co. as this is the 3rd time I have ordered from them! Just wanted to pass along accolades for your products. The clothing in your Big / Tall men's ranges is just not available in the United Kingdom where everything is made to fit a classical Tour de France rider and the XL ranges go all the way up to a 38 inch chest ! I shall be able to continue to ride in comfort and in clothing that has so obviously been designed for cycling (rather than just general leisure wear). Dear Aerotech: Amazon's "leave seller feedback" has not been working this morning so here is my paean to your company: The only thing better than these purple compression shorts (which feel like a soft second skin and fit perfectly) is the the Aerotech itself, which was generous enough a key chain with a geometricized bike that's worthy of the Museum of Modern Art, or or Late Geometric Greek Art! The bike had parallels with Greek sculpture contemporary with the Iliad and the Odyssey (750-700 BC) and related vase-painting. This comment about the quality and charm of a generous "freebie" may seem beside the point, but it reflects on the quality of the company and its gorgeous products. I will order another pair in cobalt blue and rely on Aerotech for gifts for all my bike-riding friends. Meanwhile, I have never enjoyed a bike ride to the office as much as I did this morning, wearing my new Aerotech shorts. Bravo! JM

Customer Service Rating:Excellent ordered a item that was "available" on the site only to find out that in fact they were sold out. Customer service called me and refunded that amount to my AMEX that day. Items in stock were shipped asap and arrived in 2 business days. (USPS) Items delivered (shirt/jacket/pants) were what I expected. While web-inventory wasn't up to date, great effort by customer service to call and let me know the issue.

Subject: Amazed by your shorts Good Evening,A little over a couple of weeks ago I was riding my bike and wearing a pair of your shorts. I just bought them last spring and have probably put over 300 miles on them. As I was riding along I came to a set of railroad tracks that were at a steep angle across the road. I thought I had enough angle to get across safely but was wrong. I went down pretty hard bruising and scraping my hip, arm, knee, and hand(all on the right side). I got back up and despite being sore rode back to my destination. (I was riding bike support for a marathon, so I headed back to the finish line.) Even though I did a quick inspection of myself immediately following the crash, I did not think to look at any of my clothing. So when I got home and took my shorts off and inspected them I was SHOCKED and amazed. There was not ONE SNAG anywhere on my shorts where I fell. I was wearing a long sleeve jersey and it did not fare as well as the shorts did. I was on some pretty rough road and slid a good couple feet. I am posting a picture of my bruise as evidence of the crash. I would post a picture of the shorts too, but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Thank you for making such a durable and comfortable product.

 

I initially bought from you guys because you had kids bike shorts at a reasonable price. While purchasing a pair for my son, I decided to purchase a pair for myself. I now have two pairs of your shorts and will continue to buy your shorts as my other "big name, big price tag" shorts wear out. ATD windstopper tights I recently purchased a pair of these in medium at your recommendation. I had my first opportunity to put them to use this morning. Hi, just wanted to say a big thank you. My order arrived on Xmas Eve (after i had explained to my husband that his present would probably not arrive 'til after xmas.) While I haven't ridden in them yet, I did try them on and they are exactly what I have been searching for! I am a 54 year old female cyclist. I do not care for traditional padded bike shorts and I like a longer short. At 54 I am in great shape but don't think I look too good with my butt hanging out. Subject: Spandex Exercise Compression Workout Shorts I just received the above shorts that I ordered through Amazon and I cannot tell you how much I love them. I had been looking for something like these in all of the stores near me but couldn't find anything that was just to my liking. I wear an XXL and wanted them for the gym but everything I found was baggy and ugly. When I went to Amazon's website and saw these I was thrilled but was still apprehensive about how they would actually be went I got them. Hello...I found your website about a week ago and I'm so glad I did...I am a bigger guy who loves to ride but I felt a little bit uncomfortable wearing the regular 2xl jerseys that,despite their size(2xl), did not fit and were skin tight and trying to find a 3XL was almost impossible until I came upon your site...I ordered a 3XL from your company and it fits perfectly...thank you for looking out for us bigger guys and having jerseys that fit true to size...I will be ordering more from your site...

I've now ridden in a pair of your bibs for around 100 miles on the road and close to another 100 mountain biking. Excellent padding, wicks moisture well considering it's been in the mid to high nineties at 60-80 percent humidity. You make a very good quality product. I'm sold on them. I recently purchased a pair of Aerotech Design bib shorts. I am 55, approx. 6 foot, & 210 lbs. My waist is generally around 38 inches. I didn't want to be squeezed too tightly, so I ordered the XL which was recommended on the size chart for a 38-40 waist. The size chart was dead on! XL fit me great. Not too tight, not too loose. Legs were a smidge longer than my old bibs I'd been wearing, but not much. Moved my bike shorts leg tan-line down maybe 1/2 an inch. Leg grippers fit snug enough to add support and kept the shorts from riding up. VERY comfortable.

 

What convinced me to try these bibs was the information on the chamois or MLP seat pad. Saddle discomfort is my biggest problem when it comes to long rides. I had tried several improved comfort riding saddles, but still couldn't seem to improve my "tender-foot" posterior problems.. if you get my meaning... When I saw the information about the MLP seat pad, it occurred to me that maybe improving the saddle was only half the cure, which is why I ordered a pair of the Aerotech Design bibs. WOW! BIG improvement!!! My first ride with these new bibs was a 105 mile ride. I was still doing better at 105 than I normally am at 50 - 60 miles, and hadn't taken as many breaks. I would rate the comfort of these Aerotech Design shorts with the MLP seat pad to be superior to the Louis Garneau riding shorts I bought earlier in the season for twice the price.

 

One final note regarding the moisture wicking properties of the material. During the ride I did not notice any discomfort or wet feeling from sweating. At the end of the ride, I noticed tiny salt crystals on the outside of the fabric, which I would consider good proof that the moisture was being pulled away from my skin. I had never noticed the formation of these little salt crystals with any of my other riding shorts.

 

Quick summary: You CAN TRUST the size chart The material does a great job of wicking moisture away from your skin The MLP seat pad does what it advertises in regard to improved saddle comfort GREAT comfort, quality, and value for bibs priced well below the big name brands!!!Happy Pedaling Okie rider!

Hey guys, While looking for a pair of tall bib shorts that I could buy without taking out a loan, I came across a small company in Pennsylvania that makes cycling clothes. That is right, something made right here in the USA.

 

I just received a pair of bib short (tall of course) that I ordered last week. I haven't ridden in them yet, but the fabric, workmanship, and chamois seem excellent. I had contacted the company before placing the order because of a sizing question and I got very good customer service. Their prices are very reasonable and it is nice to deal with an American company selling an American product. I thought I would share this resource with my cycling buddies. the gel padded spandex shorts I bought from aerotech last month are the best cycling shorts I have ever had. They even help me to correct my posture while riding so as to prevent the build-up of friction with the outer edge of the chamois. The slight changes in thickness from one part of the chamois to the other are comfortable and anatomically correct, but only when the correct posture is applied. J

I ordered exactly the shorts I'd hope to find (loose fit padded bike shorts), then worried about whether they would work On The Day.

 

Well, they did! I rode the 11.6 mile Mineral Belt Loop around Leadville CO in perfect comfort. The shorts worked so well that I completely forgot about them while I was riding. By enabling me to relax, they helped me to save energy during the ride, and the padding greatly reduced the muscle soreness I experienced after the ride was over. Thanks to your wonderful shorts, I was able to enjoy every minute of my cycling adventure. I can't thank you enough for making such a fine product for larger women. We love the outdoors as much as our skinnier sisters, but we're often short-changed when it comes to outdoor gear. Thank you for treating us as equals. Keep up the great work!

This is a firm I will be doing business with again. Their website was easy to use, the product delivered in a timely manner, and the quality exceptional. I purchased their product for a use it isn't designed for. I a needed a post surgical support garment in a size none of the regular medical providers makes. Their product came up under a simple web search for compression garment. Aero Tech's site had a great product description and ordering guide. Their product has been a great contribution to my recovery and return to work. I have heartily recommended this product and firm to my surgeons and have been pleased with their approval of my use of Aero Tech's product. The quality of each garment is the best I found, and that includes long sleeve, short sleeve, and sleeveless jerseys PRO quality shorts of any color.No one else, that I know of sells any thing like the wild prints shorts, or replacement pads.

 

The wild print shorts are really loud, but when riding at night, through a downtown area, they provide an added opportunity for drivers to see me. The replacement pads have allowed me to make my own LOUD, cold weather bike-pants. The long sleeve jerseys allow me to wear just that and a wind breaker/rain slicker down to 30 degrees F. The website is very handy as different items grouped together, can change shipping, yet one of three shippers can be substituted to find the cheapest or fastest. They also offer volume discounts that will be automatically calulated. I'm trying to find the words to thank you for the most amazing bike shorts! Finding them in a size that fits AND is proportionate is something of a miracle. Please pass on my thanks and congratulations to the design team who got it right - just because I'm a bigger woman, doesn't mean I'm 7 feet tall! At 267 pounds, I'm training for my first triathlon and it's such a relief to be able to pull on these shorts and know they will fit and look great. I'm also so appreciative that these are reasonably priced, so I don't have to take out a mortgage to buy more! Folks, So here's the deal. I ordered your basic solid color cycling jersey the other day, and received it last night. $20. Nice looking jersey, and compared the fabric to a Louis Garneau Mistral jersey (~$40-$50). Same fabric... or at least that's what my fingers and eyes told me. Tried it on, it's true to your sizing charts. Felt comfortable with a pleasant fit. I haven't been outside with it yet (it's February in NY...), but looking forward to it.

 

Bottom line? Great product. Your pricing speaks for itself and I've just recommended your site and product to my forum-mates over at Bicycling.com, as well as a long-time friend of mine just getting started with his road biking hobby. I'll be ordering a couple/few more jerseys from you in the near future and think value-wise, you stack up against any cycling product out there. I just received my order today (MTB Padded Mountain Bike Shorts and Tall Man's Cycling Bike Jersey) and I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the clothing. I am 6'4" tall and it is getting very difficult to find bicycling clothing that fits well - especially high quality US-made clothing. I really appreciate the extra length in the Jersey - this was the first long-length short sleeve Jersey that I was able to find. I will certainly be ordering additional clothing in the future. I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you. I started riding about a year ago just as a way to get to work. I also started riding at 312 lbs. NO ONE else carried "true to size plus size cycling wear. Other sites offered a 3x that was actually a women's size 14.

 

I bought your women's size 3x to start out and some of them were too small/too tight, which was me not fitting into a size I thought I did, but I was able to return these with zero hassle. Since I've started riding, I've fallen in love with cycling again. Not since I was a child have I felt the exhiliration and complete feeling of freedom. I've begun riding in area rides at 30-40 miles, and I'm training for a triathlon. I've also lost 75 pounds so far. Now I'm down to an XL and I can pretty much buy clothes anywhere, but you can rest assured, I will be staying with Aerotech Designs for everything I need. Just a quickie to mention that I like the newer chamois in the bibs that I just received that seems to be much better than the older ones in my two, three year old Aerotech units. It seems firmer and more pronounced in the layering than the previous model. Or maybe it's just because I've ridden the snot out of the older drawers and have worn the butt padding past the same kind of noticeable, useful lifespan.

 

You all do very good work and put a very good product on our backsides. I got a very expensive Assos bib short for Christmas last year and have a difficult time now in not only justifying the cost differential, but the feel does not seem to be any more significant or appreciably better than my new Aerotech bibs. It is rare that I take the time to thank a company for a product well made. I recently received my purchase of two pairs of your women's cycling shorts. They are the best cycling shorts I own now; beating out three other top name brands. & They were much more affordable. Also... I love the backpack you added to my order! I've been looking for one like it that wasn't a loud color or designed for a hip hop twelve year old. ('Not that I have anything against hip hop twelve year olds, mind you... just that at forty seven I suppose I should look my age even if I don't act it.) So... to conclude... I'm hooked on your line of apparel. You've won a returning customer.

 

Just wanted to tell you how great your shorts are. I got a pair of Top Shelf shorts. First ride was 50. I really wanted to like them but there were a few spots where they were rubbing. The second ride they felt better. Now they are fine. The third ride was 100 miles with no sadddle sores which I sometimes get in the heat. I love the fact they are made in Pennsylvania. I went to college in Loretto, Pa. at St. Francis and now live in Florida where I can cycle all year round. Keep up the good work and fair prices.

I registered and set up an account on 2-14, I placed an order and rcvd a confir mation e-mail from you on 2-15, I received my order on Friday 2-17..

I opened the package and founf both the tights and shorts I had ordered, I tried them on, they fit great...The tights fit like the ad said they would, I did order one size smaller as when my winter weight goes back to normal they will fit even better..I like the second skin fit and feel..Granted I live in Orlando,Florida and the outside air temp this morning was 64, I did a run / walk of 3.5 miles..

 

The fit and feel of the tights was great they stayed put did not bind at the knees or in the crouch area (tight fit like a second skin) I like the wild color, I'm tired of the plain old black look. Tomorrow will be a bike workout 12-15 miles, not sure if I'll wear the shorts or tights again.. By the way, I'm 62 and workout 7 days a week, Bike, Run, Walk and Swim..I think I found my new workout clothing company.. TKS Tom J
